Coach Kristina Pinto
Kristina Pinto is an RRCA-certified running coach and age-group racer. She has run 9 marathons and occasionally takes off on international running adventures, such as her 2009 run in the Australian outback and the 2010 Berlin Marathon.
Kristina is also a fitness writer who has published in Runner's World and Women's Running magazines and whose writing was profiled by the Boston Globe in 2011. She wrote a featured blog for the Competitor Group for two years and is currently working on a pregnancy guide for endurance athletes that is scheduled for release in 2013. Her current blog is titled Mother Running Rampant.
Kristina has a doctorate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where she specialized in adult psychology and women's health. Coaching blends her passion for running and fostering adult growth and she's determined to mix fun with challenge when she works with runners. She believes that running is one of the few ways that adults can grow in mind, body, and spirit all at the same time. "It's the perfect outlet for 21st-century multi-taskers. Where else can grownups get medals?"
